TWIM discussed writers strike and the new Sony, shoulder mounted video camera Z7U ($10,000) and the VX.

I should check out www.mobeygratius.com as a source of free music for video sound tracks. Here is a quote from the web site.
hi,
i'll keep this brief.
this portion of moby.com, 'film music', is for independent and non-profit filmmakers, film students, and anyone in need of free music for their independent, non-profit film, video, or short.
to use the site you log in(or on?) and are then given a password.
you can then listen to the available music and download whatever you want to use in your film or video or short.
the music is free as long as it's being used in a non-commercial or non-profit film, video, or short.
if you want to use it in a commercial film or short then you can apply for an easy license, with any money that's generated being given to the humane society.
i hope that you find what you're looking for,
moby

I need to get an ubuntu book with disc for the Gateway computer.

Went to Dr Helman for my annual checkup and to check on neck rash treatment progress. Saw Dr McCaskil 12 days ago. Weight today is 187 and height 5ft 9in on the clinic scale. In the evening I watched the remaining episodes of The Office, season 3 on a DVD from netflix. I have used up download direct allocation from Netflix until December 3.

I really screwed up my MacBook. I put a ubuntu disk in it and then set it to boot from CD. It booted into ubuntu linux but was not able to get into the graphics interface, in other words it was stuck in text mode. I shut it down and took the ubuntu disk out but it still booted to a line prompt asking for the disk. I thought it might boot from an OS X system disk but it would not and I could not remove the system disk. So I looked at apple/support and saw I could boot from the CD by holding down the C key. Then before actually installing a new OS X, I saw and clicked on an options button and this allowed me to select a startup volume and restart the computer. Back to normal. Now to defragment the defunct OpenA PC and install ubuntu on it.
