November 6, 2007 Zire71
I am sitting in the blue recliner with Chobe ensconsed firmly on my lap. Even with the MacBook perched on its chairside perch, I find it difficult to write with Chobe in place. It works fine for reading, I am currently reading Borge and Gall's Educational Research, An Introduction (7th ed., 2003) and Deitel's Internet & World Wide Web, How to Program (4th ed., 2008) on CourseSmart.

Today would have been cousin Bill Nygard's (Roger Carelton Nygard) 75th birthday were he living. I noted this in the Zire's calendar when I checked the date for this memo. The Zire is still working quite well except that the on/off switch does not work. I turn it on by releasing and putting back in the flash memory card. I turn it off by not using it so that it turns off automatically. While checking the calendar, I also noted an entry that said one week to brother Bill's birthday (he will be 65 years old) and one week to granddaughter Sophia's birthday (she will be 4 years old). I have plenty of time to get a birthday card sent to both of them. Sophia is my youngest grandchild. However, last night I dreamt that David Michael had a baby. The baby's mother was not specified in the dream. Bill and Sophia's birthday is also my father's date of birth. He was born November 13, 1907 and would thus be 100 years old on his birthday this year.

My personal technology all seems to be working well at the moment. I do not have the wassons.com web site up though. I need some help in getting the old Gateway computer working for that task.
